Tourism in Namibia plays a major role in the economy of the South West African country of Namibia. After mining, it is the
second most important economic sector in the country. More than 15.3 billion Namibian dollars were turned over, accounting
for 14.8 percent of GDP (as of 2014).
The supervisory authority for all providers of tourism services in Namibia and the country's marketing organization is the
Namibia Tourism Board (NTB), which is affiliated with the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. A tourism strategy for Namibia
was presented for the first time in October 2016, which is to apply until 2026. Among other things, this provides for the
restructuring of the NTB.
Since 1996 we are offering a range of registered companies in the Namibian tourism industry.
The majority are smaller companies that cannot invest huge sums in marketing.
And if you miss something which was listed a few years back, it doesn't mean they don't exist anymore. All
our members have the free choice to join and to leave.
This should make it a bit easier for you to plan your holiday trip to Namibia.
Here you get in direct contact with the respective provider and we do not charge any commission or fees. In the street map you will find our members for accommodations with direct links. And in the NTB Business Directory you can search country wide for all registered accommodations.
We hope you enjoy surfing and planning.
